Banyan Tree
- This project is to plant and revive our National Tree to fill our Environment with oxygenated air and maintain ecological balance.
- The Banyan Tree holds a deep symbolic significance in Indian mythology and spirituality. It is also considered a symbol of immortality. Most of all is that it is our National Tree.
- A single mature banyan tree can absorb CO2 at a rate of 2268 kilograms per year and release enough oxygen back to the atmosphere to support two citizens.
- Thus, Plantation of our National Tree will not only contribute to the Environment but also uplift the heritage and culture of our Nation.
